GH4080A Nickel Based Alloy for High Temperature Application below 800°C
GH4080A is a type of Ni-Cr base precipitation hardening superalloy. It is used in temperature less than 800 ° C.
The alloy in the range of 650 ° C to 850 ° C good creep resistance and oxidation resistance. The cold and hot properties of the alloy are good. The main product forms of GH4080A include hot rolled and forged bar, cold drawn bar, hot rolled plate, cold rolled plate, strip, wire and ring, etc.
Similar brands of GH4080A Nimonic 80A have been largely replaced abroad by Nimonic 90 and Inconel x-750, but they are still widely used in nuclear power because of their low cobalt content.
GH4080A density: 8.15g/cm3

Advantages
Applications
GH4080A is used to manufacture rotor blades, guide blade supports, fan-piece mounting rings, bolts, blade locking plates and other parts of aeroengine. The GH4080A is also used to make fasteners and blades for car engines, as well as valves and shafts for trains. In recent years, with the development of the shipbuilding industry at home and abroad, GH4080A has also begun to be widely used in the production of valves for Marine engines.
